What Is a Silverback

A Silverback is a man who has been through it, whatever "it" was, and came out the other side with his integrity intact, his sense of humour intact, and a working knowledge of which mistakes not to make twice.

A Silverback is not a gym bro. Not a bloke in a Lamborghini telling you about passive income while he rents the Lamborghini and lives with his mum. Not the loudest man in the room, the richest, or the man with the most mirrors in his house. He is, more often than not, the quietest bloke at the bar: the one nursing a beer, scanning the exits, quietly noticing that the bloke at table four is about to do something stupid. The manifesto gives four markers. He has been broken and is back. He has stopped pretending. He says less than he used to. He shows up.
