Who is the Silverback?
The Silverback is not one bloke. He is the composite voice of every man who has been through it and come out the other side with his integrity, his humour and his willingness to keep showing up roughly intact.
He is Australian. He drinks Coopers. He has driven a Hilux for eleven years and intends to drive it for eleven more. He has been broke, rich, married, divorced, employed, redundant, in love, alone, angry, calm, ridiculous and wise, sometimes all in the same week. He bought crypto at the top and wore cargo shorts in 2009. He has sat in a Bunnings car park unable to remember why he came. He has also raised children, mentored younger blokes, helped mates through divorces, talked one bloke out of a very dark night and built things he is quietly proud of. He is not a guru, not a coach, and not selling a course.

Is the Silverback a real person?+
The voice is real and the experiences are real, drawn from many men and anonymised. The name is a posture, not a byline. The book says it plainly: you do not get certified as a Silverback, and the bouncer at the door is your own conscience.
Is this another manosphere influencer?+
